The Center for Advanced Imaging is now pleased to offer the advantages of the Toshiba T.RAD Plus digital radiographic X-ray system to the patients of our community. The new system will enable our radiology staff to deliver optimal patient care using high-quality images. Moreover, we are now equipped to offer more convenient and faster exams to our patients without the use of films, and with almost no processing time.
Digital X-Ray (T.RAD Plus) features a state-of-the-art flat panel digital detector that eliminates the need for film and provides detailed radiographic images using the industry’s fastest image preview capabilities for greater exam efficiency and patient care. The new system also features a 17x17-inch field-of-view for the largest anatomical coverage. The T.RAD Plus offers instantaneous image preview, and a wide dynamic range for greater visualization and image quality – more than seven million pixel image resolution, providing our clinicians with high-quality images that capture more information for greater diagnostic confidence.
The T.RAD Plus also streamlines workflow to minimize the number of steps involved in scanning patients. The exam is as simple as entering the patient data into computer, selecting conditions to match the targeted anatomical area, and after the X-ray exposure, a preview image is obtained on-screen in about three seconds. If the patient positioning is acceptable, final image processing is performed, and the image is ready for network distribution and printing.
The improved workflow and faster cycle times of the T.RAD Plus not only increases staff productivity to handle more patients, but also enhances patient care with less exam time and retakes, allowing for a quick and comfortable experience.
