Robert F. O’Brien M.D.
 Dr.
O’Brien is a well-known Interventional Radiologist in
the Roanoke Valley. He has special interests in neuroradiology, spine
imaging, spine and orthopedic pain management, vascular access, and
hemodialysis access. Dr. O’Brien came to Roanoke in 1997. He
and his wife Louisa have been active in the Salem/Roanoke medical
and non medical communities since. Dr. O’Brien received
his medical degree at the State University of New York At Stony Brook.
His Radiology training was also at SUNY Stony Brook where he developed
his interests in neuroradiology and interventional radiology. Dr.
O’Brien completed his Interventional Radiology training at
the University of Virginia in 1995. His research interests have included
papers in the Immunology, MRI, and Interventional Radiology literature.
Apart from this, Dr. O’Brien is proud to maintain a strong
commitment to his family and his church.
