Naiyer Imam, M.D., MSc.
Dr.
Imam came to Roanoke in 1998 leaving his position as an Assistant
Professor of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions
where he also served as the Director of Teleradiology. Dr. Imam is
well published in the medical and radiological literature, having
written landmark papers in AIDS research in Medicine and pioneering
concepts of the use of technology to improve physician’s
and patients lives. Dr. Imam is a physician and computer scientist
licensed to practice Medicine in Virginia, New York, Arizona, Wisconsin,
Georgia, Maryland and Florida. Dr. Imam received a Bachelors of Science
degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as a Medical Degree
at an accelerated program from Brown University. Dr. Imam obtained
a Masters of Science degree in Biostatistics at Harvard University.
